Management is a traditional business offering. The University
of Indianapolis program prepares graduates for management
positions in profit and nonprofit industries, manufacturing
and service industries, and for owning their own businesses.
Management students have a broad liberal arts and business
base on which to choose one of three concentrations. Some
students choose two concentrations and still graduate in
four years.

Production and Operations Management
This program is for individuals who enjoy the manufacturing
industry. Industrial managers are concerned with materials
management, capacity planning, and inventory control. Quality
and statistical control and customer satisfaction are important
components of the program, and process is heavily emphasized.
Many graduates in this field work in the automotive industry,
therefore an understanding of the production process is
very important.
