International
Business - Bachelor's Degree*
International Business students learn about regional groupings
and their influences on international business. The success
of the European Union (EU) has led other nations to join together
in similar structures. Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), for
example, governs one of the world's fastest developing economic
regions. The North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA),
formed between Canada, Mexico, and the United States, helps
each remain competitive in the international arena; in the
future, NAFTA may cover the entire Western hemisphere. With
the success of these regional groupings, in combination with
the increase in international business activities throughout
the world, the demand for international business graduates
is steadily increasing.
